It is a great shock when someone passes away, and the days and weeks after are often very upsetting and confusing for family and friends.

With Kingsley Tresidder funeral service we are here personally to help you through this difficult time and to ease the pressure of arranging a funeral. We understand bereavement is a difficult time for any family so we are available 24hours a day.

We have a purpose built Chapel of Rest at Mill Yard in Ponsanooth.

Families and Friends are welcome to come and view their loved ones at a time that is convenient to them by pre - arranged appointment.

Newspaper Announcements

We can take care of all your newspaper announcements if you wish to publish them in a local paper of your choice before the funeral service, prices can be discussed.

Following the funeral service you may wish to place a thanks notice or obituary in the local paper.

Floral Tributes

To help you find the right floral tribute for your loved one we have available a book. We can carry out the orders on your behalf or you may wish to place your own order.

If friends and family arrange their own flowers, please ensure the flowers are delivered to us, It's advisable to call us to check what time we require the flowers.

Donations

Families often choose a charity for donations in lieu of flowers.  On the day of the funeral there will be a donation box with the chosen charity displayed.  After the funeral, we will accept donations by by post or at our business address., or via our website. Cheques must be made payable to the chosen charity.

We will send the donations to the chosen charity and we will write to the next of kin to say how much was donated.

Funeral Stationery

Order Of service

Service sheets can be designed to suit your needs but we do have a template you can use for a starting point. We will distribute the service sheets on the day of the funeral, any service sheets left over will be collected after the service and returned to you.

Name Cards

We will be present at the church or crematorium before the service and friends attending will be invited to sign a name card.  The cards are passed to the family after the service.

Memorials

We are not monumental masons but we can put you in touch with local reputable firms who will be able to assist you further.

PRE - PAID FUNERAL PLANS

When a loved one passes away it often makes people consider their own funeral arrangements. 

We can offer advice on funeral planning and help you complete the paperwork if you wish us to.

Registration

Following a bereavement a death must be registered, we will help you with this process.
